Central to our commitment to operating county wide and giving back locally, are the grants, we award to individuals and non profit organizations of all sizes in Alachua County Florida communities.

Community Non Profit Grant Program

Eligible non profit organizations must operate within the service area of the facility in Alachua County Florida from which they are requesting funding and have proof of 501(c)3.

FUNDS/GRANTS FOR ALACHUA COUNTY NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT FOCUS ON COMMUNITY, FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS, SCHOOLS BACK PACK PROGRAMS AND EDUCATION.

Our Application Process

Email a request for funding by submitting the form below with your organizational profile and a brief description of the purpose for you or your non profit organizations' request. Organizational Profiles allow us to learn about you (if an individual) or your organization’s strategies, priorities, and programs in order to determine whether they align with current funding opportunities.

Please review the program descriptions below and identify the program that best fits your programmatic needs.

“A HEALTHY COMMUNITY”: Medical health assistance funds grant program

“RUFF TIMES”: Helping Alachua County pets/ health funds/ voucher grant program

We acknowledge receipt of all email requests submissions within three weeks. Please note that although submitting a profile is the first step in applying for funding, it does not guarantee an invitation to submit a grant proposal. Due to funding limitations, not all groups working in our priority areas will be invited to submit a grant proposal.

If considered, you will then be sent a reply email with an invitation to submit your request proposal along with an attachment of our guideline's form. Please carefully review our criteria and priorities before completing your full proposal.

Please allow at least 30 – 90 days for a decision on a general support grant proposal
